Career Center Internship Program
Thank you for your interest in Gallaudet University's Internship Program in the Career Center. As you know, the internship is the cornerstone of a student's professional preparation. It allows the student to apply classroom theories, concepts and prior experiences in a practical, professional setting. We intend to achieve first-class status as an internship program through steadfast, professional commitment to our students, integrity, character, and service provision.

Through the Career Center's Internship Program, Gallaudet University students add career experience to their Gallaudet education. Gallaudet University is the world's only accredited liberal arts university specializing in educating deaf and hard of hearing individuals.

Run by the Career Center, the Internship Program is campus-wide. Students in any major can pursue "co-ops" or internships. Gallaudet interns work at sites throughout the United States and internationally in private businesses, government agencies, educational institutions, and nonprofit organizations.

Career Center staff offer employer training and support services to establish successful working relationships with Gallaudet's students and employers.
